How to Waste a Week's Vacation and a lot of $$

Well, pay close attention to the first few pictures as we had 1 good day, 5 HORRIBLE days, 1 decent day but with a RED flag, and then a day to drive home... The boys even wanted to go home early...

Look below in the background in the picture of Mark and Evan... Here come the clouds...
Playing in the sand...My favorite thing!!

Well, I see a LITTLE promise of sunshine behind the clouds.
And a rainbow as a promise that the next week would be pretty! Too bad we can't have a good weather return policy on our condo rental

Cubs-9-10 Year Old Championship Kyle

What an awesome year--16 - 0 and winning the tournament! Gotta love those boys and the coach, too... They can now all say, "Been there, done that, got the T-shirt!"

Kyle catching.

Evan & the boys. Evan has really gotten more into the game this year. I am glad.

Al Roker from "The Today Show" made it look so easy....

Here is one of the "before" pictures.

I have to find the rest of the pictures..., but it DOES look good. See my facebook page for the rest of it. I have to thank my cuz Stacy for the real talent. I was the apprentice!

Seth 11-12 year old MBA Team--Go Cubs!!!

GO CUBS GO! HERE ARE PIX FROM THE SPRING/SUMMER 2010 SEASON. I LOVE MEETING EVERY NEW AND RETURNING PLAYER WE HAVE EACH SEASON. THEY ARE ALL AWESOME. THE BEST COMPLIMENT IS THE CALLS TO MARK REQUESTING THAT HE TRY TO GET THEIR SON ON HIS TEAM AGAIN. OF COURSE WITH THE DRAFT, IT ISN'T POSSIBLE. I GUESS IT IS A COMPLIMENT THAT SO MANY ARE DRAFTED SO EARLY THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO GET TO SO MANY THAT WE'VE GROWN TO KNOW AND LOVE :). Here are some pictures of the newest round of Cubbies :)

L-R Will Ganues, Tyler Broiles, Caleb Hall, Logan , Jacob Reissner, and even our returning player who is too old to play tis year, but misses us... Brad ______,

I used to be so bored with baseball when I had to follow my brother in high school. Now, I have learned more about it and I enjoy it so much more--especially when we win :) Seriously, I've learned to take it less seriously over the year. Here are a few pix from the first games we played in.

Meet my husband's son Seth...

Do you know how sometimes you can tell that people are related without even doing a DNA test? Well, that is how it is with my middle son and his Dad. They are both very driven, fast paced along with a lot of other good characteristics, BUT...they are SO hard headed. It causes many disagreements between the two of them since neither of them are ever wrong.

Today on the way to school I was talking to Seth and Kyle about some school activities, when Kyle mentioned how Seth got ejected from the final basketball game the other day. You know why?? Because he yelled out at the referee (who is a teacher), "Are you blind?" Of course, Seth was in the right as he proceeded to tell him about how a player on the other team stepped out of bounds more than once without penalty. Then Seth got called for walking (which of course he was not doing...), so he just couldn't take it anymore.

Now, meet Seth's Dad who is critique extroidinare... He can not stand imperfection in any form. I need to start taping him while he watches the TV. He can pick out any problems with hair, weight, make-up, dialect, etc. with anyone! Watching interviews on the news is my very favorite things to listen to his comments on. If we could just be as perfect as these two are... But, we gotta love them anyway :)

Snow & Bird Pictures! (That doesn't mean Snowbird... lol)

I love trees with the snow/ice that looks like diamonds!

Pretty...I love the blue sky as a back drop!

More pretty...
Mark took the boys to Barfield Park to sled and they had fun--but were really cold!!!

Here is Brayden & Kyle with the snowman that our new neighbors from California built. They picked a great year to move here & experience the winter snow. I told them not to expect it every year--but I LOVE it... as long as I am home, anyway!

Now, here are my pretty big pictures! I love Cardinals.

Typical males--they must be fighting over some hot female cardinal!
Here is our house.
