Today on the way to school I was talking to Seth and Kyle about some school activities, when Kyle mentioned how Seth got ejected from the final basketball game the other day. You know why?? Because he yelled out at the referee (who is a teacher), "Are you blind?" Of course, Seth was in the right as he proceeded to tell him about how a player on the other team stepped out of bounds more than once without penalty. Then Seth got called for walking (which of course he was not doing...), so he just couldn't take it anymore.
This is a visual illustration of "Life as I Know It". I got lots of things to love and be thankful for. There are also some things which make me crazy! There are probably a few things to just represent life lessons. Welcome to my cat filled, work filled, son filled, adventure filled world!

Meet my husband's son Seth...
Do you know how sometimes you can tell that people are related without even doing a DNA test? Well, that is how it is with my middle son and his Dad. They are both very driven, fast paced along with a lot of other good characteristics, BUT...they are SO hard headed. It causes many disagreements between the two of them since neither of them are ever wrong.

Now, meet Seth's Dad who is critique extroidinare... He can not stand imperfection in any form. I need to start taping him while he watches the TV. He can pick out any problems with hair, weight, make-up, dialect, etc. with anyone! Watching interviews on the news is my very favorite things to listen to his comments on. If we could just be as perfect as these two are... But, we gotta love them anyway :)

Your cup or your cup???
It wasn't today, but very recently, my youngest son Kyle calls me in a panic from the baseball field. (Thankfully, we live within a 1/2 mile of our home away from home.)
He says--"Mom, please bring me my new cup--I have to have it now so I can play." I am thinking that he probably doesn't have his gatorade & has to have some liquids for the coaches to let him play. I look around and can't find it--calling back, he says "it's the one with the red stripe on the top of it." Finally, I am quite frustrated...what does it matter which cup you have?...
